D-Link announced the new Wi-Fi 6 Mesh Casa Integral systems of the CVR-X1870 series. It includes multi-pack alternatives equipped with Wi-Fi 6 Mesh technology, which delivers more speed, greater capacity, and less network congestion.
More specifically, speeds of up to 1.8 Gbps are supported, focusing on uses for simultaneous 4K streaming, virtual reality games, video calls, and the Internet of Things.
The models also feature four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports and one Gigabit Ethernet WAN port, for optional wired connectivity. The series also delivers the latest WPA3 encryption, with parental controls enhanced by the D-Link Wi-Fi application.
Included are the OFDMA and MU-MIMO features, to communicate more data to more devices, and Smart Roaming and Smart Steering, for a stable and reliable connection. In all, the brand new series has four models: COVR-X1870, COVR-X1872, COVR-X1873, and COVR-X1874. Each has a number of different units and covers. Check out:
- COVR-X1870: 1 unit; coverage of up to 275 m² / 3,000 square feet
- COVR-X1872: 2 units; coverage up to 510 m² / 5500 square feet
- COVR-X1873: 3 units; coverage up to 740 m² / 8,000 square feet
- COVR-X1874: 4 units; coverage up to 925 m² / 10,000 square feet
Prices and availability
D-Link, so far, has not disclosed the availability or prices of the new products in its Wi-Fi 6 Mesh Casa Inteira line.
