Apple releases new betas for devs from tvOS, iPadOS and iOS 13.4, watchOS 6.2 and macOS Catalina

Apple We saw that Apple released new versions of watchOS in order to correct a critical error in Apple Watch health software in Ireland. As usual, a new version of an Apple OS never arrives alone, and today we are seeing it.

Developers can now download the second beta of iOS 13.4, iPadOS 13.4, tvOS 13.4, watchOS 6.2 and macOS Catalina 10.15.4. The idea is that they can anticipate new API requirements when updates are released on stable channels.

IOS, for example, now offers the CarKey API. It would allow iPhones and Apple Watches to be used for locking and unlocking doors in smart cars with a built-in NFC system. It is a very specific scenario, but certainly curious, especially when we remember that the use of NFC by Apple is always very restricted.

In addition, nine new emojis should be made available with the update, in addition to a new design for the toolbar of the E-mail app.

In macOS Catalina, the novelty would involve the second beta of Xcode 11.4, bringing the possibility for developers to create bundles of their apps to be offered through a single purchase, both on the company’s PCs and on the iOS App Store.

Remember, these updates were released to developers, are not yet available in the beta channel of ordinary users.

Anyway, some news for the Cupertino giant’s devices could arrive in March, with the possible announcement event of the iPhone 9, which would have already won a hands-on.
