Known in the market as a smartwatch maker that combines the right design and low price, Chinese Mobvoi has officially confirmed to its home market the arrival of the second generation of its TicPods 2 and TicPods 2 Pro earphones.
Looking similar to what we saw in Apple’s AirPods, the new wearables are visually similar but differ in some specific respects, superior to the “Pro” version, which is predictable when considering the nomenclature standards used in the general market.
Among the similarities in both versions, we have confirmation that both feature Bluetooth 5.0, aptX and AAC connection support, 13mm dynamic speaker and CVC noise reduction technology thanks to Qualcomm-signed SoCs integration.
On battery, the headphones have a total capacity of 30 mAh (with a promise to last between 4h and 5h, being the shortest autonomy in the Pro version), and have a case that provides 390 mAh chargeable via USB-C connection.
Not least, both support commands for personal assistants (Google Assistant and Siri) and connected home devices, as well as IPX4 certification, providing resistance to sweat and water.
Among the differences, we highlight the possibility of controlling the Pro version through head gestures for certain functions thanks to the six-axis sensor and different SoC (Qualcomm QCC5121 for Pro version and Qualcomm QCC3026 for “standard” version). ).
