Sony Xperia USony Xperia U smartphone was launched in May 2012. The phone comes with a 3.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 pixels by 854 pixels at a PPI of 280 pixels per inch.

The Sony Xperia U is powered by 1GHz dual-core STE U8500 processor and it comes with 512MB of RAM. The phone packs 8GB of internal storage that cannot be expanded. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Sony Xperia U packs a 5-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 0.3-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The Sony Xperia U runs Android 2.3 and is powered by a 1320mAh removable battery. It measures 112.00 x 54.00 x 12.00 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 110.00 grams.

The Sony Xperia U is a single SIM (GSM) smartphone that accepts a Micro-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM and 3G. Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer and Ambient light sensor.
