In addition to the title, YouTube’s instant translation – which, of course, is integrated with Google Translate – also involves other aspects of the video, such as subtitles automatically generated on playback and description of the content.
Although it has already reached some users, however, it is important to highlight that there may still be some flaws until the integration between the translator and the video platform is finalized. In some search results, for example, the social network translates the title of a video from English to Portuguese normally, but others may still be left without the translation.
For now, the novelty is limited, apparently, to the video search page and the playback screen itself, but it is not available in other areas of the website or application. However, it is possible that over the next few days the translation will be broader.
Finally, it is worth noting that the novelty is released through an update on the server, so it is not possible to force the translation of the contents with an application update.

It is worth remembering that, recently, YouTube held an event for advertisers and released a possible novelty that promises to facilitate the display of advertisements in videos without interrupting the actual playback. This update is expected to be released later this year to platform partners.
