Xiaomi VP denies rumor about Redmi 7A arriving in india with Snapdragon 730

Unlike some speculation that surfaced on the internet in the morning, implying that the Redmi 7A smartphone could come with the Snapdragon 730 platform, the information was denied and the device will arrive in India with the expected chipset, which is the Snapdragon 439.

This product is part of a well-known line of Xiaomi in the emerging country, since previous models were responsible for the rise of the company in Indian territory, dominating 48% of the market within the price range between ₹ 5000 to ₹ 7000 278-389 in direct conversion).

After seeing the proportion that his speculation has taken and to eliminate any hope from consumers, Xiaomi India VP Manu Kumar Jain clarified in his Twitter that the device he was referring to was the Redmi K20  ( Mi 9T ) and not 7A as many have thought.

Turbocharged cockroach! Redmi 7A can be released with Snapdragon 730 in India

Recently, Xiaomi promised to launch the Redmi 7A alongside Redmi K20 on Indian soil. However, so far the company has not yet revealed a date for the devices to begin selling.

As a consequence, this has caused a flood of questions to Chinese executives. But it seems that this delay may have a good reason. Responding to a user about the launch of Redmi 7A in the country, Manu Jain, director of Xiaomi India, said the handset should gain a great improvement.

In a relaxed tone, the executive said that the Snapdragon 439 of the Chinese version can be replaced by Snapdragon 730 in the Indian variant. Look:

Yes, we would like to release it with my favorite SD 625! Unfortunately our truck was stolen. Oh wait .. There is a new 625 on the market: SD 710! Luckily, this time we’re smarter upgrading to the latest SD 730, which is 40% faster than the SD 710, which is already 1 year old.

After posting the comment on Twitter, many Xiaomi fans once again questioned the executive about the official release date. However, Jain declined to comment on the matter.

Anyway, many celebrated the fact that the Indian Redmi 7A can be much more powerful than many competing entry devices. Now, all you have to do is wait and see what Xiaomi will charge for the device.
