Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G: users create petition for update to Android 10

Announced during MWC 2019, the Mi Mix 3 5G is a model that seeks to bring more power than the most basic homonymous cell phone. However, to date, it has not received the update to Android 10 from Xiaomi.

Now, its users have decided to create a petition to ask the Chinese manufacturer to release the update to the smartphone. The petition seeks to collect 200 signatures. At the time of writing this text, the initiative has already achieved 125.

The authors’ argument is that all devices in the “Mi”, “Mi Mix” and “Redmi” lines have already been awarded MIUI 11 in 2019, with the exception of Mi Mix 3 5G. They also add that Xiaomi justifies the delay due to the low number of units sold.

The petition refutes the thesis and places the blame on Xiaomi executives. She says that this sets a precedent for the same to happen with the new flagships of the Mi 10 family or the next models of the “Mi Mix” series.
