Xiaomi has just officially announced the arrival of the Mi Band 4 smart bracelet in India, giving users in the country an up-to-date option for the Chinese device that is reaching more and more users worldwide. However, the version released in the Indian territory does not have functionality that gives even more differential to the product, such as NFC and microphone.
The new version of the device brings attractive upgrades that set it apart with Mi Band 3 quality, such as the 39.9% larger screen than the previous one, making it have a 0.95-inch display and 120×240 resolution. Another interesting point about the display is the brightness adjustment option, which improves the visibility of content in brighter locations, one of the biggest complaints from users in the previous generation.
An addition that makes the wearable even more complete are watch faces, which are basically backgrounds with different watch models to give the product a “unique” look. With the latest Mi Fit app update, background switching options have become even more versatile, eliminating the need for third-party apps to do so.
Also in the news, now the notification area allows a better view of the product because the display is fully colored, something that also helps in activating functionalities linked to physical exercises, music control, calls, etc. The protection that enables a resistance of up to 50 meters makes it possible to use it in swimming pools without fear of spoiling it.
Another highlight of the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 is its battery, which promises a battery life of up to 20 days in continuous use, something that many competitors cannot meet. When it was launched in China a little over 3 months ago, the manufacturer promised that the equipment would feature a version that supports NFC, which it did.
However, the model released in India has set aside this functionality, which limits the usability of the smart bracelet, as it will not be possible to use it for approach payments via Alipay. Another interesting feature that is not present in the model sold in the emerging country is the microphone, which would facilitate communication with the assistant Xiao AI, as well as voice control of IoT products produced by the company.

Anyone interested in paying for the simpler version of the Mi Band 4 in India will have to shell out about $ 33, which was charged by the manufacturer on the NFC model in China.
