Who wins? Website compares Wi-Fi 6 on iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max with iPhone XS Max

Introduced recently by Apple, the new iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max were the first smartphones of the brand to support the latest Wi-Fi network available, the Wi-Fi 6 that promises data rates. higher capacities, higher capacity, better energy efficiency and good performance in environments with multiple connected devices.

However, it is undeniable that there is always the question of how superior a new technology is when compared to previous generations (and even other devices of the same line) and knowing this, the iClarified site decided to test the results by comparing the new devices. and the iPhone XS Max, released last year.

Using a NETGEAR Nighthawk AX8 (AX6000) router for connection, the test was performed on all devices on the same connection over a 2Gbps full speed link, which was validated via a Mac Pro prior to testing (second site publication).

When compared, it can be seen that the new generation was able to achieve at least 33% faster speed than the previous generation, ranging from 791 Mbps on iPhone 11 to 809 Mbps on iPhone 11 Pro Max, versus “only” 606 Mbps on iPhone XS Max.

A point that can also be observed in the test is that the new devices constantly reached (or exceeded) 800 Mbps, showing that the connection is not only fast but also stable, losing little when analyzing the average values seen in the tests performed with each one of them.
