Tempting price? Honor 9X Pro is announced with new processor, but without Google Play Services

Although MWC20 has been canceled, nothing will stop Honor from announcing its new handsets this month. After Huawei was present with the new foldable Mate Xs and the MatePad Pro tablet, it was time for the subsidiary focused on cheaper models to show what came with the Honor 9X Pro.

The Honor 9X Pro is a device that comes to succeed the Honor 9X, announced in 2019. Among the improvements mentioned by the manufacturer, we have the Kirin 810 processor, which promises to be more economical and comes with a GPU customized by the brand that should also bring improvements for games and applications that require greater graphics processing power.

In the end, the main difference will not be in the hardware components, but in the system. To better understand, we must remember that the Honor 9X was launched while the US government restriction was not in effect, which is no longer the case. Now Honor 9X Pro arrives without Google services, which does not recommend that they are installed or in alternative ways.

Taking advantage of the launches, Huawei released an advertisement for its official app store, the AppGallery, which should replace the Google Play Store with its own services, see:

The rest of the kit that makes up the device is made up of a 6.59 inch IPS LCD screen, 4,000 mAh battery and 6GB of RAM. The main camera is 48 megapixels and consists of a set with two more: an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies the Honor 9X Pro has 16 megapixels in a pop-up, to keep the screen free from holes or indentations.
