The arrival of the new iOS 13 this Thursday has made some apps brace for Apple’s new operating system features. In addition to Shazam implementing the new night mode in its iOS app, it is now time for Twitter to gain simple but important news in its app.
From now on, users may choose to enable the “use device setting” option to set the use of Dark Mode on iOS depending on the theme selected by the user for the entire system.
That way, if the default operating system setting is to use Dark Mode across the interface, then Twitter will automatically switch to the Lights out mode available in the app since early this year. If the user keeps the traditional theme clearer then Twitter will not switch to black mode.
Still, you can choose from themes manually in the app itself, including traditional white, blue, or black.
Shazam implements dark mode and new multi-touch gestures on iOS 13
With the release of iOS 13 this Thursday, September 19th, one of the most popular music recognition apps just got a great update that officially supports Dark Mode on Apple’s operating system and also offers more gesture-related news.
Now available, the Shazam iOS upgrade allows users to integrate the app into the system’s dark mode, extending the use of grayscale and black from the standard interface to the app interface as well.
For OLED-screen iPhones, the dark mode is very interesting as it can offer battery life improvements as panels with such technology allow the pixels to be truly erased with a real black interface displayed.

In addition, Shazam gets a new gesture to quickly select a playlist to add to the playlist: just tap with two fingers simultaneously anywhere on a playlist and drag down to begin selection.
We know you’re ready for iOS 13 – Shazam too! You can now do Shazam with style in Dark Mode.
Hold any track in the app to quickly add it to your favorite streaming app or to share it with friends. Want to quickly select a tracklist to add to a playlist? Simply place two fingers anywhere on a tracklist and drag down to make multiple selections.
