After making the new Reno 2, 2F and 2Z official, Oppo may be preparing to introduce another smartphone to the market. That’s because manufacturer vice president Brian Shen used his official Weibo profile to tease the public about a new device.
According to the executive, the next Reno phone should hit the market with a screen that has a refresh rate of 90 Hz and fast charging Super VOOC. Thus, it seems that this will be a new trend in the world smartphone market.
That’s because Nubia also plans to launch the 90-screen Red Magic 3S. In addition, rumors point out that Huawei should use the same gimmick feature on the new Mate 30, and the news will be present in the OnePlus 7T Pro.
However, despite revealing two important features of the upcoming Reno phone, Brian Shen declined to elaborate on the possible trade name of this device. Even so, many point out that we are talking about a successor to the Reno 10x Zoom.
This is because it is one of the devices that has not yet had a defined successor. Also, as the technologies mentioned are premium, it is almost certain that they can only be implemented on one device of the category.
However, Oppo has not officially commented on the matter. Therefore, we can only wait for the company’s next steps to know what its plans are to close 2019.
