Nokia: three mysterious phones appear with Android 10 in Wi-Fi certification

HMD Global appears to be close to introducing new smartphones to the public. Three mysterious Nokia branded phones appeared with Android 10 in certification awarded by the Wi-Fi Alliance.

The trio would support dual-band networks – 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz – and is represented by model numbers TA-1223, TA-1227, and TA-1229. This is the first time that any information about them comes up. Check out the images below:

One of the speculated possibilities is that one of the devices listed is the Nokia 1.3 entry phone. The other two could also be composed of Nokia 5.2 and Nokia 8.2 5G.

The second was even speculated that it would have a 6.2-inch screen and Snapdragon 632 chipset. The latter would come equipped with the Snapdragon 765G mobile platform and a quadruple set of rear cameras, with a 64 MP main sensor.

The three were expected to launch during the canceled Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2020. With the postponement of the presentation of HMD Global, there is still no forecast to make its new products official.

It is worth remembering that the Finnish company’s product manager, Juho Sarvikas, went so far as to say that the partnership between Nokia and ZEISS is maintained for new smartphones. The company is yet to announce yet another flagship, to be the successor to the Nokia 9 Pureview.
