Recent rumors have already indicated that Microsoft is about to launch a new generation of its cheap Surface Go tablet. The device even appeared in European store listings alongside the also awaited Surface Book 3, with prices between € 407 (about R $ 2,430) and € 847 (about R $ 5,056).
Now, Surface Go 2 has been seen again, this time on an FCC listing, indicating that the launch of the novelty is near. Hardware details have not been revealed, but there is confirmation that a model with support for 4G LTE will hit the market.
According to information obtained from the MSPowerUser website, the new Surface must be available in options equipped with the Intel Core m3-8100Y of 1.1GHz, or with the Intel Pentium 4425Y of 1.7GHz, accompanied by 8GB of RAM and GPU UHD Graphics 615.
Regarding storage, both should bring SSDs, but the model with Core m3 will come with 256GB, while the model with Pentium should stay at 128GB. Support for Bluetooth 5 and Wi-Fi 6 is also expected.
It is worth remembering that the company announced today via Twitter that an Inside Xbox will be on the air next May 7. The event promises to bring news about games that will be launched on the Redmond giant’s next console. In addition, Split View support for iPadOS has been added to the test versions of its Word and PowerPoint applications.
