Microsoft Surface Duo: device leaks in new image with greater details of its look

Microsoft Surface Duo

After a lot of struggle to try to make its Windows Phone devices on the market, Microsoft ended up giving up its mobile operating system and officially surrendered to Android in October last year, when it revealed the Surface Duo. The device has a curious design, being a folding device that, instead of adopting expensive solutions with flexible panels like the recently announced Galaxy Z Fold 2, chooses to use two traditional panels in each of its halves.

Despite not being futuristic like its competitors, the device has some interesting features, such as a hinge capable of rotating 180º, allowing the user to use only one display at a time, further facilitating its handling, as needed. Its functions were also not affected by its more traditional structure, with Microsoft confirming the presence of the multi-window system similar to that of the Galaxy Z Flip on the device.

Already the target of several leaks, the Surface Duo has just appeared again on the internet, this time courtesy of the famous leaker Evan Blass. In a post on Twitter, Blass announced the publication of a new image of the device in his Patreon, suggesting that it is a version dedicated to the American operator AT&T.

And thanks to reader Gustavo Lima, Techwikies had access to the photos published by Blass, with greater details of the Surface Duo’s look, which you can check below.

Interestingly, it is not possible to see the AT&T logo, not even aspects of the new look seen in a photo published by Panos Panay, head of the Surface line. Anyway, this is the first time that the device is shown with such a wealth of details, especially from the inside. The Surface Duo doesn’t have a set release date yet, but considering its recent FCC approval, it shouldn’t be long before we see the device hit the market.
