When Niantic released the video that heralded the first legendary creatures to go head-to-head on Pokémon GO , it revealed that legendary birds would be our first opponents, but a different figure appeared in the final seconds: Mewtwo. Many wondered when this would happen, and the answer was given last Sunday (13).
During the GO Stadium Pokémon held in Japan, visitors were surprised by the appearance of Mewtwo as one of the opponents that could be faced. It has the largest PC ever seen so far for a boss of Raid, achieved 49430 points. Check out the footage released by two YouTubers who attended the event, as well as some players who were lucky to face the legendary:
And when does it arrive?
If you’re curious to know more about how to capture the legendary, Niantic has revealed that Mewtwo will be the first creature to come face to face with the new Exclusive Raids. Unlike the conventional, these will appear periodically and will require that the trainers receive invitations to participate in the fighting.
To receive an invitation, you must have completed a Raid recently in the place where the Raid Exclusive will take place (the text does not mention capturing the Pokémon that appears there, just defeating it). In addition, these invitations will also bring an early warning mentioning when it will happen and, in short, give players the opportunity to craft a strategy and even arrange a suitable time for everyone to attend (note that in the images above there is A counter that apparently is 10 hours).
Unlike conventional Reides, these will appear periodically and will require coaches to receive invitations
There has also been mention that Mewtwo will be the first to be part of these Exclusive Reides, but other creatures will come to grips with this system in the coming weeks (possibly Ho-Oh be one of them).
So, can you think of a perfect team to defeat the mighty Mewtwo? And this churning among the legendary is pleasing? Leave your opinion in the space provided for comments.
And gives you more legendary
Complementing the package, the producer said that players will have a new chance to try to capture Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres and Lugia, as they will continue to appear in the game alternately until the 31st of this month. Prepare your pokébolas, join your class and do not let this opportunity pass (after all, it is known if this will be the last recent opportunity to have the four legendary birds).
