While preparing the ground for Xperia 1 debut in the United States, apparently the Sony team is still struggling to keep the phone in stock in the European market.
We’re still not sure if it’s because of the high demand or perhaps the lower number of phones on offer, but the Xperia 1 is disappearing from stores in Europe in record time.
The purple cell phone is the hardest version to find.
Starting with the UK – the cell phone that supports the Sony Xperia family is sold out. You can still find Xperia 1 on Amazon – although there are still a few units out there – but only the black version: that’s it, folks, the purple Xperia 1 was gone while customers blinked.
In addition, Sony stores in Germany, Italy, France, and Spain also reported last week in June that the Xperia 1 purple is sold out.
Anyway, anyone looking for the black, gray or white cell phone, these variants for now still appear in the windows.
In Germany, MediaMarkt said it will soon receive more units of the purple version of the Xperia 1, but delivery time can be dismal for those who want the cellphone with some urgency – from 9 to 10 business days.
The cell phone is still available in Norway, but no store offers it in the purple version.
Already in Poland, only the Xperia 1 black continues to exist in the market.
Presented to the world at MWC 2019 in February, Sony Xperia 1 drew attention to some crucial issues at its core – the highlight is that it is the world’s first mobile phone with a 4: 1 ratio 4: 1 OLED screen.
It is widely respected and already responds as one of the best 2019 high-end handsets in the Android ecosystem.
