Google Photos should receive function that removes audio from videos

Google Photos is today one of the biggest photography apps, being present on both mobile platforms, in addition to having a web version that can be accessed from anywhere.

The service not only works as a library for your images, but it also has artificial intelligence to organize them and produce montages and good image editing tools.

For videos, however, the options available were quite simple, and are often criticized by users. Google seems to have listened to its customers and must be preparing changes so that it wants to have more control when editing recordings.

The information comes from Twitter user Jane Manchun Wong (@wongmjane), who has a habit of digging up apps in search of news. She found a new button, which you can see in her tweet below, similar to the one used to indicate no sound on the system. This button would allow users to remove audio from videos, a welcome feature for those who like to share recordings on social networks.

Jane also found that the “Wind Down” function of the Digital Wellbeing function, which encompasses options for improving users’ sleep quality by making the smartphone “less interesting” to use, should be renamed to “Bedtime mode”.

The novelty should be part of a restructuring of the application, as developers at XDA Developers discovered when exploring their code. The search giant would be about to add premium filters, in addition to a more minimalist interface.
