Facebook announced today that it redesigned the layout of the Pages, the profiles for companies, and content creators of the platform. The news is divided into five pillars: new layout, a dedicated news feed, easy navigation, actionable insights, and security and integrity features.
About the layout, Facebook renewed the appearance of the Pages, so that they are simpler, leaving information such as biography, posts, and relevant information in an easier viewing place. And the pages started to gain the News Feed for the first time.
Thus, they will be able to discover and participate in conversations, interact with colleagues, and engage with fans. The dedicated Feed will also suggest new connections, whether with other public figures, pages, content, and other connections linked to the interests of that page or public figure.
Facebook will also move comments from public figures to the top of the comments section, in order to make conversations more visible to a wider audience, and displayed more often in the Feed. People will also be able to choose to follow Pages directly from comments and recommendation posts.
In addition to a new text format for Questions and Answers, Facebook has also changed the public’s interaction with the page, removing likes and prioritizing followers. The idea is to give stronger metrics about fan behavior. Page administrators will also be able to more clearly manage access permissions based on specific tasks.

Facebook also announced the improvement of detection of hate speech, violent content, sexual or spam, as well as fake accounts, and for this, it has expanded the visibility of the profile verification seal. The idea is that all features will be expanded to all pages in the coming months.
