Digital Wellbeing gets update that lets you pause apps to stay focused

And Google doesn’t stop rolling out the feature to prevent Digital Wellbeing “technology addiction .” An update has recently been found in the beta of the app that allows apps to be paused to ensure notifications will not take user focus away.

Using the phone for work, study, or any other use that does not directly involve entertainment has become increasingly common. However, notifications or willingness to use some random programs do not always maintain the required concentration.

The feature called Focus Mode (Focus Mode literal translation) arrives to put into practice something that had been promised and was shown by the search giant on Google I / O 2019. Digital Welfare version 1.0.26 aims to pause some apps so that there are no distractions in certain activities involving the smartphone.

Within Digital Wellbeing you can access the settings to modify some information about the applications installed on your phone, and you can select the ones that take the focus off most when needed. When “Focus Mode” is enabled on the Android toolbar, previously selected apps are grayed out and cannot be accessed.

When the stubborn user tries to open, a message box will appear indicating that “Focus Mode” has been deactivated, and that you need to change the settings to use it again.
