The software is now in its eighth beta version for developers, which has already started to be released this Tuesday, September 22nd.
To download, just go to the Apple Developer Center, which is the site created for the application developer community for the apple, and locate the file related to the new version. In addition, for those who are registered in the test program, it is possible to download the update via Over-the-Air (OTA) directly from the MacBook settings.
The new version of macOS is more focused on offering compatibility with the Apple Silicon, which will be used to equip some of the Cupertino company’s next notebooks, as well as current Intel chipsets. With the eighth beta version for developers of macOS Big Sur, you can also find some improvements that are aimed at both types of processors, such as design elements in Safari and Messaging becoming a Catalyst application.
The fact that the system has already reached its eighth previous version indicates that the company can finally release the final and stable version of the software in the coming days, just as it did with its other operating systems.
