A silent race has started in the Asian market, with manufacturers – especially Chinese ones – vying for the cheapest 5G modem-equipped cell phone station for sale in China. Vivo has taken a significant step in this direction by launching its model, the iQOO Pro 5G, which currently occupies the post, but this leadership may be short-lived.
That’s because Xiaomi, known for its plethora of low-priced technologies, is due to launch a 5G model in September, according to news from the Asian tiger. And the information shows that it will not be the Mi Mix 3 5G, launched in the European market.
The bet is that Xiaomi will have a new 5G model aimed at the Chinese market, probably a Mi 9S 5G. And the smartphone would be launched at even lower prices than the iQOO Pro 5G, which now sells for about $ 530 ($ 2197, indirect conversion).
Like the iQOO Pro 5G, the likely Mi 9S 5G will also come equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, with variants that can reach 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage.

In cameras, the model is likely to have a triple rear set with a 48 MP main camera combined with a 20MP front camera, an under-screen fingerprint sensor (ie AMOLED display), 4000mAh battery.
