Onitama is a version for mobile devices of the popular board game of the same name, in which two players can face each other in turn-based battles set in feudal Japan. We can play both against a friend using the same device, as against artificial intelligence, as against opponents through the Internet.
Onitama’s game system is relatively simple: in our turn we can use one of the two movement cards that we have at our disposal to make one of our five chips move. Once we use a card, it will pass to our opponent and you can use it in your next turn.
The two conditions of victory of Onitama are the following ones: to finish with the enemy leader or to place our leader on the square of the enemy temple. And that’s it. Keeping this in mind we will have to move our pawns with strategy and trying to anticipate the movements of our opponent.
Onitama is a good table game and this version for mobile devices will allow us to enjoy it with many comforts. We can play alone, against artificial intelligence; but we can also face opponents online and even a friend using a single terminal.
