Apple releases seventh beta version of MacOS Big Sur for developers

However, software that has been in testing for some time has been left behind: macOS Big Sur. The Apple operating system for MacBooks has not yet been released and now has just received the seventh beta for developers, which has already started to be released gradually.

macOS Big Sur features a redesigned interface look for the Mac, as well as new screen visual effects for the Messages app, the Control Center, new widgets, among other features.

Without a justification for the reason for not announcing it to the final public with other software, it is likely that the Cupertino giant will wait for the launch of the first Mac with Apple Silicon, which should arrive later this year, to present them together to fans from the company.

The update for macOS Big Sur has started to be released via OTA and, to update it, just navigate to the system preferences and look for the “software update” option. However, it is important to note that the update happens in stages, so it will take time for all devices to be updated.
