Xiaomi ends this week releasing a new Global Beta version of MIUI 10.
The latest update essentially complements the platform released last month and comes compiled under version 9.6.20 with a focus on fixes.
This is likely to be one of the latest releases after the beta announcement that the beta program will be closed from July 1 for all devices.
The recent update is being distributed via OTA to all phones that have already received version 9.4.25, and among the highlights is the fix for unintentional ringing in the notification bar during calls.
What’s more, this latest version also includes optimizations for the calendar and recent applications.
Screen lock, status bar, and notification
- Fix – Unintentional ring bar notifications during a call
Calendar
- Optimization: Change or unlink account on Facebook-marked birthdays
- Optimization: Removal of non-essential licenses
Recent Apps
- You can now manage new apps on the recent apps screen
More information and the complete list of mobile phones supported by the new update are available from the official MIUI developer community.
Recalling that Xiaomi is currently working on MIUI 11 based on Android Q, bringing the new features of Google to the exclusive interface of the Mi family.
