With brand already registered, LG ThinQ Wallet should debut as digital portfolio for crypto-coins

Last year rumors that LG is working on an encryption project have surfaced on the web, and the information has been strengthened after the LG Science Park employees earned the ability to pay for purchases with crypto-token tokens using a “special app.”

Registrations of a brand called ThinQ Wallet reiterate the possibility of launching what may become LG’s first digital wallet for crypto coins.

Registration was performed on 07/07/19 at the USPTO ( United States Trademark Patents Office ) and the app is already included in the European database.

According to the description, this is a paid software for telephones/software blockchain / digital wallet for crypto coins.

The familiar ThinQ brand is used by South Korea to identify electronic products with artificial intelligence. The name Wallet refers logically to a wallet to manage virtual money. The brand description confirms the suspicions.

Apparently, more and more manufacturers are sticking to the digital money trend; in 2018, for example, HTC launched the Exodus smartphone, blockchain device that can only be bought with crypto-coins.

The Galaxy S10, launched in early 2019, also has a crypto-coins portfolio called Samsung Blockchain Wallet, which allows users to manage Ethereum and other digital currencies – unfortunately, Bitcoins are not (yet) supported.

Last month Facebook introduced the world to its own digital currency and the company also developed its own digital portfolio.

Unfortunately, we still do not have much information on the upcoming LG ThinQ Wallet, it is still unknown, but it seems that it can be launched next to the company’s next big smartphone, the V60 ThinQ, which still needs to take some time to become official.
