Windows 10In an effort to increase the integration between Windows 10 and Android smartphones, Microsoft announced on Wednesday (3) that the application “Your Phone” now allows notifications to be mirrored on the PC.

According to the giant of Redmond, the novelty is being distributed through an update of the application in the Microsoft Store, which is that the resource was one of the most awaited by the users.

Notifications have arrived! With the application Your phone, you can now receive and manage the notifications of your Android phone on your PC. Get the app from the Microsoft Store.

As we all know, despite the popularity of smartphones, most people still work using a PC. Thinking about it, Microsoft has developed “Your Phone” in order to expand the integration between Android and Windows.

If you want to try to mirror notifications, you must be using Windows 10 with an update 1803 installed. In addition, you also need to download “Your Phone” in version 1.19052.657.0 or later.

Finally, the user will need to sync their smartphone with the PC by downloading the “Add-on To Your Phone” in the Play Store and allowing the app access to the notifications. For now, only notification mirroring is available. However, Microsoft promises a promising future by mirroring the device’s own screen.
