WhatsApp beta gets new feature for “wipe Status” on Android

After testing an improvement that should allow the execution of videos outside the chat, WhatsApp beta is getting more news on Android. According to the staff of WABetaInfo, it will soon be possible to completely hide the Status of people who have been silenced.

As we know, since its launch in the messenger, the Status function allows the user to “mute” some people. This causes updates from that contact to be left out of the list of photos or videos that can be viewed.

However, many users complained that, even if silenced, the Status of the unwanted person still appeared at the bottom of the list. Now with the new feature, the messenger allows you to completely hide any updates and make a real “clean” list.

For now, the staff of WABeta Info says that there is still no provision for Whats App to release the appeal to the public. In addition, only a few beta channel users can access the feature.

Anyway, the novelty is present in version 2.19.183, which is already being distributed in the Play Store. With this, it seems, soon the messenger can start distributing the resource to the audience of the stable channel.
