Sony Xperia 20 comes on the FCC; may be released in the next few days.

Sony is already preparing the next generation of its restructured line of intermediaries that debuted in 2019. Following the announcement of the Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus in February, the brand should reveal the second version of the line also in the same year.

Records at the FCC show that the model number PY7-26817E has been certified in the United States and can also be sold in the country. The model in question would be the Xperia 20intermediary. The larger and more powerful version of the line, the Xperia 20 Plus, should be presented next to the common version.

The Sony middleman will come equipped with a chipset from the Snapdragon 710 platform to Qualcomm, offering an eight-core processor with speed up to 2.2 GHz and Kryo 360 architecture with 10 nm lithography. In addition to two variants: a 4 GB RAM with 64 GB of internal storage, and another with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory.

In the images and models already leaked, the Xperia 20 comes with two rear cameras, which may have resolutions similar to the previous generation (both 12 MP) but there are no details about the front camera. Already in relation to the display, the company should adopt the LCD panel IPS with a size of 6 inches, Full HD + resolution and the ratio 21: 9 with the cinema aspect.

The dimensions of the device should be 158 x 69 x 8.1 mm, being 9.8 mm thick for the camera region. The dimensions are very similar to the current Xperia 10, but the Xperia 20 will reach higher, wider and thinner.

The handsets are scheduled to launch later this second semester, and with leaks reinforcing characteristics of smartphones intermediates each week, it is possible that we are increasingly closer to its official announcement.
