Several Final Fantasy Classics will Premiere on Switch and Xbox One

Among them we find FFVII and IX, or the remasters of Final Fantasy X and XII.

Square Enix was surprised to confirm the release of some of the most important titles in the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One Final Fantasy series, including the improved versions of the classic Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy IX.

“Final Fantasy debuts on Nintendo Switch, ¡kupó!”, The Japanese company has written on social networks, following the release of the latest version of Nintendo Direct. “There will be many titles from the legendary RPG series, including Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy XII, The Zodiac Age and Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD”, which debuted on the Hybrid console.

The collection of video games from the Final Fantasy saga, which premiered on the Hybrid console, is complemented by the previously announced Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles remastered edition, Final Fantasy X |, X-2 HD Remaster and Chocobos Mystery Dungeon Everybuddy! that will be launched next year in 2019; World of Final Fantasy Maxima will do so in late 2018.

In the meantime, users of the Xbox One will also receive the classic Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy X | in 2019 X-2 HD Remaster and Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age. On November 6, the aforementioned World of Final Fantasy Maxima will be released on the Microsoft console.
