The wait for Android 11 tests to finish on OnePlus Nord will, unfortunately, end later than planned. The manufacturer released the news that it suspended the launch, which had already started in beta, after detecting bugs in OxygenOS 11.AC01DA.
Users who have already performed the update will need to maintain it until OnePlus resolves the issue. In the official post posted on the company’s forum, no further information is discussed regarding what bugs are present in OxygenOS. The manufacturer is limited to saying that “the update has been temporarily suspended to ensure a smooth user experience, given the detection of some bugs.”
OnePlus has yet to cite dates for the release of new updates.

OnePlus Nord receives first test version of Android 11
A few days ago, OnePlus had revealed that it would start testing with Android 11 on some phones and among them was Nord.
The intermediary, which arrived on the shelves with Android 10 pre-installed at the factory, has not yet been updated to the latest version of the little green robot, however, now its owners can enjoy the first test version of the platform.
The Chinese brand made available different builds of the system for the global, European, and Indian variants, which can now be downloaded here. It is important to note that this is a system still in the testing phase, therefore, bugs are expected.
We do not recommend installing Android 11 Beta if your Nord is the only smartphone available, seeing that the system may also be incompatible with some apps and services.
In addition to changes to the interface, OxygenOS Open Beta 1 based on Android 11 has new styles for the clock, an option to activate Dark Mode right from the shortcut menu, a new interface for Shelf, and more.
The installation, which does not erase the data on the smartphone, requires at least 3 GB of free space and a minimum of 30% charged battery.
However, if the user wishes to return from the Beta system to stable compilation, complete formatting is required.
