OnePlus Nord Lite? Charger certification hints at new cheap model

0

OnePlus Nord LiteThe OnePlus Nord was presented a few weeks ago as a proposal for a premium intermediary for the manufacturer that until now only launched high-end devices. However, we have already seen signs that the cell phone could win an even cheaper version, which is being confirmed after several leaks and today a charger seems to indicate this again.

The charger has been certified by TÜV Rheinland and it has different specifications than the one supplied with the current model of the OnePlus Nord, which is 5V 6A at 30W with the Warp Charge 30T. The model in question supplies 5V 2A (10W) and 9V 2A (18W), much less, even reaching 20W, which would be 5V and 4A.

This is the first OnePlus charger that supports a voltage greater than 5V, which would be something different for a possible new OnePlus Nord Lite. Recently we saw a benchmark where a device that could be it was using the Snapdragon 660, while another report informs that it can arrive with the yet to be announced Snapdragon 690.

Finally, the code name for Nord recently leaked, showing that in reality, the line would consist of 2 devices named Billie 1 and Billie 2. Anyway, if the processor is the Snapdragon 660, it shouldn’t be long before it is introduced, for 690 things could change and it could reach the end of 2020 when Qualcomm is due to announce new chips.
