One more Honor 9X ?! Event invitation indicates imminent handset launch in India

Although already announced in the third quarter of last year in China, more precisely in July, and in the fourth quarter in Europe, in October, it appears that Honor will present another country with Honor 9x, India. the chosen one of the time.

That’s because, after releasing a teaser through its official Twitter profile for the country, the company sent media invitations for a release on January 14th, and although there is no confirmation that it is 9X, that’s all it seems.

In addition to the invitation, another source leads us to understand that we will actually see the 9X debut. Bringing the following image on a promotional page, Flipkart – the international retailer – gives us the path that the next device to be announced will actually be the one cited as it brings all previous generations of the device in order of release along over the last 5 years and the silhouette of a new pop-up camera device (just like the 9x view.)

It is not known, however, which 9X we are talking about – or if it is actually a third model. Understand, devices released in China and Europe, although having the same name, do not share the same specifications. While the Chinese model brings the Kirin 810 chipset, the European carries a slightly lower version, being equipped with the Kirin 710F.

However, as Honor has not yet been able to certify the Kirin 810 with Google, it is quite possible that the South Asian country will receive the same version seen on the European market  although that is not yet a certainty.

In addition to the Kirin 710F, the mainland model features 4 or 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of internal storage, a 16 Megapixel pop-up front camera, and a 48 + 8 + 2 Megapixel triple rear camera. The model sells, in its basic configuration, for € 299 (about R $ 1,356 in direct conversion), but is expected to reach India for an even lower price.

Apparently, besides the announcement of the 9X on the 14th, the company should also take the opportunity to launch the Honor Magic Watch 2 smartwatch in the country. The model was made official just over a month ago on Chinese soil.
