On the iPhone! Facebook starts testing dark mode for iOS users

This Friday (26), Facebook started to make dark mode available to a small number of users on the iPhone and iPad for testing. And users have already started showing the news on Twitter.

Screenshots on the microblog show that the Mark Zuckerberg platform has quietly implemented the novelty to some people in recent days, more specifically in the new version 14 of Apple’s operating system. See how the visual change was:

The social network has even confirmed that it has started releasing the feature to “a small percentage of users globally at the moment,” according to the SocialMediaToday website. Until then, the functionality was present only in other services of the company, such as Messenger, WhatsApp, and Instagram.

In the specific case of Facebook, the dark mode had reached the desktop version in May of this year, when the new interface design became available. But the mobile app had yet to be awarded.

At the end of April this year, users have already released the news in beta, but that time it was still on iOS 13.
