Nokia 4.2 is upgraded with Android security package for the month of May

The Nokia 4.2, which had its sales started a few days ago in India, has just been updated, reiterating the speed of updates, after all, it is also part of the Android One program.

The model was matched with a new software package that arrived weighing 439.7 MB, which includes not only user interface and stability improvements but also a new Android security pack, dated May 2019.

According to the Changelog, which we can see in the image below, a vulnerability has been removed from the media structure – one that could allow you to run any program on your smartphone, boosting the chances of a remote attack.

Although the likelihood of an attack being very low, it is still as the saying “better safe than sorry” – so if you are one of those who purchased Nokia 4.2, it is interesting to install the update.

The intermediary is available for purchase in Europe for 170 euros and in India for 10,990 rupees. Just like Nokia 9 Pure View and Nokia 3.2, the laptop is also certified by Google Android Enterprise Recommended, ie it is recommended for commercial use (thanks to its stability and absence of superfluous and malicious software).

Recalling some of the technical specifications, Nokia 4.2 came on the market with Snapdragon 439 processor, 5.7 “screen (with drop notch right), 2 or 3 GB of RAM and 16 or 32 GB of internal storage.
