Between late July and early August, we saw Samsung announce several new devices. Among the news, we saw the Galaxy Watch Active 2, new smartwatch of the South Korean brand, the new flagship devices, Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 Plus, which bring several new features for the Note series, and the Galaxy Tab S6, tablet that will compete with Apple iPads.
The tablet is the first to switch from the EXT4 file system to F2FS, as it was done on Galaxy Note 10. Briefly, F2FS technology is newer and was developed by Samsung itself. For comparison, the Galaxy Tab S5e still uses old technology and eMMC storage, while Tab S6 also switches to the new UFS 3.0 standard, as do the Fold and Note 10 brothers.
