This information came through ETNews, which said that the partnership between the two companies has only begun, as new smartphones from the Chinese company are expected to have a South Korean screen. This agreement is a milestone for LG Displays, which in the mobile market has only two client companies: LG itself and Xiaomi.
The latter, despite being a big success in India, cannot keep up with Huawei in sales. With more than 154 million units sold, Huawei is the fourth largest smartphone maker.
LG is also the company that produces the screen of devices like the Google Pixel 2 XL, in addition to being the manufacturer of the screen of its own device, LG V30. Both the Pixel 2 XL and the V30 are having a lot of problem reports on their displays, and most of them are burnt-in.
LG itself does not know if it will move to use MLCD + screens on its smartphones or keep the OLED. Therefore, we are hoping that these screens of South Korean will no longer have this kind of frequent problem and that the partnership between LG and Huawei will be strengthened more and more.
