Huawei begins campaign to regain public confidence in Germany

July 2, 2019 By Kamran Haider Leave a Comment

HuaweiAfter President Trump announced the withdrawal of Huawei from the blacklist of trade with the US, the Chinese giant has already started its brand recovery plan . That’s because the company has made some promises to the German public on Twitter.

The action was published on Sunday (30) and is the first step of the Chinese seeking to restore user confidence. According to Roland Quandt, this image is also appearing on the page of several retailers of Germany and brings some clarifications:

  • Security updates are guaranteed for Huawei devices
  • The company’s smartphones will continue to use Android
  • “Best apps” still available
  • Huawei maintains its traditional guarantee

With the publication spreading among the German public, Huawei intends to end previous polemics and reverse any negative image among consumers. Thus, the company also hopes to normalize its sales flow.

For now, we still do not know if the Chinese giant will do the same campaign in other countries. Even so, as the company has had a big impact on your sales, it is very likely that all marketing work will be done over the next few weeks.

It is worth remembering that, despite Trump’s promise, we still do not know what the relationship between US companies and Huawei will look like. That’s because the details of the deal have yet to be unveiled by the US Department of Commerce.
