Goodbye to the pop up ?! Oppo files patent for slide smartphone

Smartphone manufacturers Oppo has been developing various handset models that feature the pop-up camera retraction system in their body, removing the need for any notches, but providing full enjoyment on the front of the handsets.

However, not all users are supportive of this feature, either due to unfamiliarity or even fear about the useful life of the phone. A patent saw at WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) shows an Oppo device with a slide system.

The renderings show a red device and look even more attractive than any other smartphone developed by the manufacturer, delivering a set of innovative technology and design to give users even more choice of visual quality.

These images also show a possible application of two lenses to the selfie camera, showing that this phone can focus on this photographic style. Already in the rear are two more cameras aligned vertically, leaving the back free to apply a different design on the product.

Other details are also shown in the renders, such as the fact that it does not come with a headphone jack, which still catches the eye of many people. It is not yet known what this model may be and not even if Oppo will take the construction of this device forward, but it is nonetheless an interesting alternative for those who do not like pop-up cameras.
