Bandai Namco is not satisfied with the demand for his title fight
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for Nintendo Switch debuted this week in Japan and apparently was one of the most awaited games by players in the region. What we are referring to is that its first shipment has already sold out in several stores.
Through a posting on the official game account of Dragon Ball on Twitter, Bandai Namco explained that there is a shortage of the physical version of Xenoverse 2 for Switch. The company expects to send more units to stores before the end of the month.
It is still too early to guess whether Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be the most popular game of the week, as there is no estimate of the number of copies distributed by Bandai Namco. That is, although it is possible that the game has sold hundreds of thousands of copies, it is also probable that for some reason Bandai Namco produced few cartridges. Regardless of the reason, what seems to be a fact is that Xenoverse 2 in Switch is surpassing expectations.
In case the success of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 in Japan continues like so far and that something similar happens in the West ( will debut the 22 of September in America ), it would not be rare to see Dragon Ball FighterZ in Switch. The above, since the dealer first wants to measure the interest of the players, and Xenoverse 2 could be a good way to do it.
In case you do not know, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for Switch is a port of the title of fights that arrived in October of the last year to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. This version has new features that take advantage of what the hybrid console offers – as support for motion controls and the possibility of playing anywhere – but will not include its downloadable content.
