ASUS ROG Phone 3 will bring improved AirTrigger with support for up to four gestures

ASUS has already confirmed that it is about to announce its newest gamer smartphone, the ROG Phone 3. As we approach the launch, more details are being released, either through leaks or even through official company publications. Today, the company confirmed great news for those who like the shortcut system of the brand’s devices.

In new promotional material, ASUS revealed that the AirTriggers feature of the ROG Phone 3 will support up to four different gestures. The technology makes use of ultrasonic sensors to recognize different finger movements to perform user-configurable actions. In comparison, the ROG Phone 2 was launched with just one gesture, having received a second option through updates.

The ROG Phone 3 is expected to hit the market equipped with a recently announced Snapdragon 865 Plus processor with a focus on gaming devices, 6.59 “AMOLED 19.5: 9 panel with Full HD + resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, up to 256GB of storage, 6,000mAh battery and Android 10. Its official launch takes place next Tuesday, 21.

The Taiwanese manufacturer has already announced that the first 200 buyers of the new device will receive Cetra headphones, which alone cost around € 79 (~ R $ 486), which is an excellent gift. In addition, the device is already pre-booked at Chinese retailer JD.com, but unfortunately, details of the price have not yet been revealed.
