$300 iPad Edit 4K Video Without Breaking a Sweat

iPad Edit 4K Video Without Breaking a Sweat: In September, Apple reveals the seventh-generation iPad tablet featuring a slightly bigger 10.2-inch Retina display versus the previous 9.7-inch screen. Its amazing feature: this so-called budget iPad starts at $329. But education customers can have it for just $299. Here the question is, can this iPad with its updated internals and 3GB of RAM handle editing 4K video? Harris Craycraft has the answer.

So, can you edit 4K video on the budget iPad?

Harris used the excellent LumaFusion video editor. But I expect the same results and experience from apps like Apple’s own iMovie and Clips. And from third-party software such as Filmmaker Pro, VideoGrade, Adobe Rush, and much more.

If you are a student working on a video project or a video editor putting together a project. It’s good to hear that with iOS 13’s much-improved Files app you can now easily import your videos from and export them to an external storage device. Well, the budget iPad has Lightning instead of the USB-C port found on iPad Pro. As it means that you’ll need Apple’s Lighting to SD card adaptor to import your footage.

The 10.2-inch iPad is available from Apple and authorized resellers, including Amazon.com.

Recording 4K video with the iPhone 6s Plus was totally effortless. Default settings for both of the 6s models record video at 1080p, but under Settings > Photos & Camera, you can select to Record Video at “4K at 30 fps,” that activates 4K recording across all videos. At this point, it’s a matter of launching the Camera app or 3D Touch-ing Camera to “Record Video” — and clicking the red record button. Necessarily when your iPhone is horizontal rather than vertical.

Conclusion:

Have you ever record 4k video or used LumaFusion video editor just like Harris? Let us know in the comment section below.

Till then! Keep Smiling 🙂
