Step 1: Buy or rent videos from the iTunes Store: Tap Store in the Videos app or open the iTunes Store app on your iPhone and tap Videos. See Overview of the iTunes Store. The videos you buy using your iTunes account will be available in Videos on the iPhone regardless of the computer or iOS device you use to purchase them. The iTunes Store is not available in all areas.
Step 2: Transfer videos from your computer: Connect iPhone and sync videos from iTunes to your computer. See Synchronize with iTunes.
Step 3: Stream videos in real time from your computer: On your computer, enable “Share at Home” in iTunes. Then on the iPhone, go to Settings> Videos and enter the Apple ID and password you used to set up “Share at Home” on your computer. Then open Videos on iPhone and tap Share at the top of the list of videos.
Step 4: Convert a video to make it compatible with iPhone: If you try to sync a video from iTunes with iPhone and a message appears that indicates that the video can not be played on the iPhone, you can convert it. Select the video in the iTunes library and choose File> Create New Version> Create Version for iPod or iPhone. Then sync the converted video with the iPhone.
Step 5: Delete a video: Click Edit in the upper right of your collection. To remove an individual episode from a series, swipe left over the episode in the Episode list. Deleting a video (excluding a rented movie) from the iPhone will not remove it from the iTunes library on your computer and you will be able to sync the video back to the iPhone later. If you do not want to resynchronize the video with iPhone, set iTunes to not sync the video. See Synchronize with iTunes.
Important: If you delete a rented movie from your iPhone, it will be permanently deleted and you will not be able to transfer it back to your computer.
