Rube’s Lab is a puzzle game inspired by the legendary The Incredible Machine, in which we can use lots of different objects to create automatisms. All levels of Rube’s Lab will start in a very similar way: by pressing the ‘play’ button a ball will fall. Our objective will be to use all the pieces that we have at our disposal, to take advantage of the energy of that ball and to break the ballot boxes that contain the exit key and the green crystals.
At our disposal we will find a wide range of objects. Among the most basic we will find wooden sticks, which we can rotate at will; trampolines, where we can bounce any ball; or pieces of tube, in which we can try to introduce any ball.
Before pressing the ‘play’ button to see if we have done well, we will have to take into account one very important factor: the type of ball in the level. And it is that the basketball does not bounce like the bowling ball … or the billiard ball. Each ball has a different physics.
