Red Siren: Space Defense is an action game in which we will have to defend our base from all kinds of mechanized dangers: ships, tanks and large combat robots will try to kill us. Luckily we have a fast battle ship and a good number of weapons to achieve our goal.
The history of the game is set in a future year 2138 where Earth’s raw materials have been depleted. We will control a soldier from the Red Siren squad whose mission is to prevent planetary looters from stealing these resources. We will travel from planet to planet to defend the bases of their assailants.
Playing Red Siren is quite simple thanks to its control system: we will move freely across the screen through a virtual stick. The basic attacks of our ship will be carried out automatically, although to use other weapons we will have to touch the corresponding button.
In each phase we will have to end the hordes of robots that will attack us on both sides of the screen. We will receive a monetary reward by terminating them all. Money with which to improve our ship and weapons, as well as acquire new ones.
Red Siren: Space Defense is a good action title that resembles tower defense, although here we can move freely throughout the screen. It has a remarkable graphic section and we have several ships available to unlock.
