Plantopia is a beautiful fusion puzzle video game in which players will accompany a young woman on her mission to bring her grandparents’ old garden back to life.
The Plantopia game system is as follows: at the beginning of the game, we will meet our protagonist, a young woman who, after the death of her grandparents, has inherited the old flower farm from her. Our mission will be to recover the farm and bring it back to life by planting different species of flowers. In order to grow the flowers, we will need different seeds, fertilizers and water and the way to get them will be by solving merge-type puzzles.
The game system of these puzzles is as follows: for each type of plantation, we will need a ‘generator’ of materials, which can be a tap that gives us water, a sack of compost that gives us soil and seeds and a fertilizer that help with plants. By clicking on any of these generators, we will obtain raw materials that we will have to merge until we find all the necessary ingredients to plant our new flower. For example, in the case of the rose bush, we will need to fuse drops of water together until we find a specific type of container for the water and, on the other hand, we will have to fuse rose seeds and pieces of earth until we find the necessary combination to to be able to plant the flowers.
When we have planted our rose bush, we will have to wait for it to grow to cut the flowers and get new seeds. In addition, as we advance in the game, we will be able to collaborate with a neighboring woman who has a store next to the farm from which we will be able to complete orders from different clients in order to obtain money to increase our production and improve our facilities.
