Phyrexia is an action-adventure game in two dimensions, in which players will be able to control a warrior, with whom they will have to go through lots of different scenarios, full of enemies and obstacles. Our objective: to avenge the death of the father of our protagonist, with the help of several friends that we can make throughout the game.
The Phyrexia control system is very well adapted to touch screens. On the left side of the screen we will have the virtual movement stick, while on the right side we will have the action buttons. We can attack with the sword, use the bow to shoot an arrow, and jump. In addition, we can create special jump points, which will allow us to do a double jump to reach locations that would otherwise be unreachable.
The fighting in Phyrexia is simple, but we will need a little skill to defeat our enemies. The main problem is that our hero has an energy bar similar to that of the Souls saga, so if we hit like crazy, we can run out of energy and we will be an easy target. For this reason we must try to be precise with our attacks.
Phyrexia is a good action and adventure game, which stands out above all for its excellent visual section, which uses the Unreal Engine. This version of the game, however, only offers the first bars of the adventure.
