Never Gone is a two-dimensional beat’em up set in a dark fantasy world, in which humans, vampires and demons are waging an eternal war. We can control a Bloody Knight or a Dark Sister, trying to tilt the scale for one of the three sides.
The Never Gone control system is the usual one of the genre. On the left side of the screen we will have the ‘stick’ of movement and on the right side the attack, jump and lock buttons. Pressing an address twice, we can run. And carrying out combinations of buttons we can perform ‘combos’ and special attacks.
When starting a new game of Never Gone we can choose between the two main characters, each of them with their own attacks and skills special. In addition, we will find three different chapters, with a multitude of levels within each one. Each level has an approximate duration of three minutes, plenty of time to face against dozens of monsters.
Never Gone is an excellent two-dimensional action game, which has a very funny ‘old school’ game system, and a variety of missions and enemies. The game also has an outstanding graphic section, with bright HD models.
