Last Day Survival is a ‘roguelike’ with overhead perspective, in which we will control one of the last survivors of a zombie apocalypse. Our goal: to try to find other survivors and take us to as many undead as we can, before our inevitable end arrives.
The control system of Last Day Survival is relatively simple, with the virtual ‘stick’ of movement located on the left side of the screen and the action buttons on the right side. Depending on what objects we have in our inventory, we can use knives, machetes, pistols, shotguns, assault rifles, etc.
The Last Day Survival levels have a short duration, between one and two minutes maximum. In this time we will have to try to fulfill diverse objectives: in some cases it will be to collect ‘loot’ and in others simply to finish with a determined number of zombies. Of course, be careful because not all zombies are the same. Throughout the game we can see each other’s faces with more than a dozen different types of undead.
Last Day Survival is a frenetic real-time ‘roguelike’, which has a fun game system and excellent graphics. The game also has lots of skills and unlockable weapons, which we can acquire as we play (and perish).
