Froglike is an arcade in which we can control a nice frog, whose objective is to help the god Chronos to preserve the Water Lily of Time. To do this we will have to jump from lily pad to lily pad, dodging the attacks of a multitude of enemies, while maintaining the flow of time.
The Froglike control system is very simple. We will only have to slide our finger from left to right and from top to bottom to make our main frog move in the appropriate direction. In this way we will be able to quickly jump between water lilies and floating logs, while dodging the attacks of the enemies. Most enemies will simply push us, so if we are not at the water’s edge, we can survive a stake.
Our goal in each of the enchanted ponds that we visit will always be the same: to obtain the necessary score in the different magical water lilies, to open the portal to Chronos. Each time we manage to overcome a level, we can also unlock new power-ups and ‘skins’, with which to give our frog a different look. The power-ups, meanwhile, will allow us to survive a fall into the water, protect ourselves from enemy attacks, or even launch a bomb with which to destroy everything.
Froglike is a fun, top-down arcade game featuring frenetic gameplay and lovely pixelated graphics. A virtually infinite title, which we can play for hours and hours, thanks to its elegant difficulty curve.
